How do you ship?
A. We ship via UPS. The minimum shipping cost range is between $9.00 - $15.00 depending on where you are located in the Continental U.S. Charges are based on weight and location. Some itmes we ship truck freight. The minimum charge for this is $100.00 (Only applicable to frames and whole multi-cylinder engines inside the Continental U.S.). ATV Front or Rear fenders incur a minimum shipping charge of $75.00 per fender. We do not drop ship.
Q. Do you have my part in stock?
A. We do not keep parts at our facility. All parts are kept in the manufacturer's national parts system warehouses. Everything we receive is sourced directly from this warehouse system. The parts on average take one to two days to arrive in our facility. They are then sorted, packed and shipped to you the same day they are received. Our fill ratio on orders is a very high (97%+), so it is uncommon for items to be back ordered.
Q. Can you ship Air?
A. Yes, we can ship air via UPS. Please remember the shipping time is from the date we receive the parts and ship the order to you... not from the day your order is processed.
Q. How long does the order take to get to me with ground shipping?
A. It takes on average 1-2 business days to receive the parts at our facility and then 3-5 business days to reach its final destination (depending on your location from our facility). Shipping time could be delayed if parts are cross shipped from an alternate warehouse. Please look at our shipping chart for average shipping times from Service Honda to your destination.

- P.O. Boxes
- APO Address
- For first time customers we can only ship to your billing address. If your billing address is a P.O. Box then we need a physical home address for shipping purposes.
Q. Do you know availability of parts before you order?
A. Our fill ratio on orders in a very high (97%+) so it uncommon for parts to be back ordered.If something is back ordered we will call or e-mail you using the contact information you have provided. It is very important that the contact information you provide is accurate with a working answering machine/voice mail that you check daily.
Q. Do you deal in used parts
A. We deal with new O.E.M. parts, and many brands of aftermarket parts.
Q. Do you sell Honda tools?
A. No, Honda's official position on special tools is to make enough tools for dealer use. If the tool part number begins with 06, 07, or 08 it is very unlikely we will be able to provide them to you. However in the tool section of powersportrider.com you may order aftermarket tools.
Q. Can I add to an order?
A. Unfortunately once in the system it is not possible for us to add to an order. In the event you have forgotten something you can call us immediately after submitting your order on line or placing your order over the phone. Often we can cancel the first order and make a new order including the parts that you have forgotten or we can have the two orders shipped together to save on shipping costs. (Be sure to call right away if you have questions or need to add an item: 800.828.5498)
Q. Do you sell frames or L. side engine crankcases?
A. Yes. If the model is 400 cc or larger we need a Drivers License, Frame number, and Engine Number to order these items. The part is then ordered from the manufacturer. It can take a week or longer for Service Honda to receive the these items. Manufacturers do not give us estimated times or dates for these items.
Q. If I order through the web or the 800# can I pick up the order from your shop?
A. Our operation relies on an very efficient flow of parts. Picking up parts at our facility disrupts this process and in our attempt to keep prices low and the value you receive from us high, we do not provide for will call orders. All orders placed through our web site and parts center must be shipped to the customer.
Q. Will I need any info when I call the 800 # for painted parts (ex. cowls /fenders/fuel tanks)?
A. Yes, we will need the VIN & Color Code off your bike to insure that we look up the correct painted items for your year and model.
Q. How do i use the Interactive Price Page and do you have the parts if it comes up with a price?
A. Please have Caps Lock on! Make sure to use the dashes ( - ) in their correct places. Ex. ( 53230-KS4-010 ). Always use the number 0 and never the letter O. The Interactive price page is a price data base directly from the manufacturer, it does not mean we have the parts in stock! The manufacturer's release monthly price updates, therefore prices are subject to change without notice.
