Aluminum Perimeter Frame

 

  • Second generation Service Kawasaki AF chassis.
  • Perimeter aluminum frame is a composite structure comprising forged, extruded, cast and billet components.
  • The frame is optimized with a balance of torsional and longitudinal rigidity for superior handling.
  • Front and Rear petal disc brakes help reduce unsprung weight and helps clean the brakes pads for efficient braking performance.

Uni-track Rear Suspension

  • All alloy swingarm has tapered spars that combined with a cross bracket design the swingarm helps improve stability rigidity and traction.
  • Rear shock features a large 50mm piston body design that, when combined with the valving settings, improves overall performance and provides better response and feeling when the shock is bottomed.
  • The shock features dual compression adjustability, for separate high- and low-speed damping tuning.
  • The linkage bushings are all collared sleeves for easy maintenance.
  • Thin shock spring coils reduce weight.

Inverted Twin-Chamber Cartridge Fork

  • Front Suspension features a Kayaba AOS (Air-Oil-Separate) that fork keeps oil and air in separate chambers for stable damping performance during long motos.
  • Titanium coating on the fork sliders reduces stiction for improved suspension action.
  • Outer fork tube shape works with new upper triple clamp shape to optimize rigidity balance for better handling.
  • Fork offset is 23.5mm for improved cornering and handling.
  • New fork tube guards wrap further around the lower fork tubes for better protection.
  • Small holes at the top of the cartridge slows the rate air is displaced during compression. The slightly increased air pressure during compression produces more linear damping characteristics resulting in smoother suspension action in the initial part of the suspension stroke.
