Welcome to Service Honda's parts look up system. This new system allows you to look up EVERY part number for EVERY Honda motorcycle, ATV or Scooter ever sold in the United States. The system has all the current data for Honda models and includes the very latest models with the most current parts data

This system can be used through your browser or you can connect directly though remote desktop from a Windows XP Or Mac computer. The system can also be accessed by Mac users with the Windows Remote Desktop Client for OS X.

To Connect via remote desktop from Windows XP go to; start/all programs/accessories/communications/remote desktop. In the remote desktop window under computer enter this ip 69.213.66.53 press connect and you will be on our lookup system.

To Connect via remote desktop from your Mac; first install the Remote Desktop Client for OS X from Microsoft. After installation enter 69.213.66.53 where it says computer and then press connect and you will be on our lookup system.

To Connect via your browser you will need to be using browser you will need:

1) Any Windows operating system

2) Internet explorer 5.0 or higher with active controls enabled. (XP Professional users must be logged in as administrator to install the active X control.)

3) If you have Internet Explorer 7.0 or higher you must add servicehonda.com to your trusted site list. In Internet Explorer go to; tools\internet options\click on the security tab\click on the green trusted sites icon\click on the sites button\add http://www.servicehonda.com then go to the bottom of that page and uncheck the box that says require server verification(https:) for all sites in this zone.

At the first screen press connect, if the connect button is grayed out wait for and then install the Microsoft Active X control. If you are first time user you will get a yellow bar across the top of your browser, click on that bar to install the Microsoft Active X control.

Do not change any settings under "preferences" in the parts lookup program. Changing the settings including image options such as "enhanced images" or enhanced thumbnails will result in application errors and will NOT improve the images.


Known issues;

1) "Error 58 file already exists"

Changing the image options under options/preferences to enhanced images or enhanced thumbnails will result in "error 58 file already exists". If you get this message reopen the application and go into options/preferences/images and uncheck both the enhanced images box and the enhanced thumbnail box.

2) Pressing the add to invoice button deletes selected parts.

Solution:

a) Write down the part numbers you are ordering and then type them into the Service Honda interactive pricier (ordering system)

b) Scale the diagram page and open the Service Honda interactive pricier in another browser window, then type the part numbers from the diagram page into the interactive pricier.

3) Printing is not currently possible.
